New technological trends in smart cities

Energy storage and management systems, autonomous vehicles and shared mobility services will play a big role in creating smart cities. Other important aspects are connectivity and a 5G network everywhere, as well as the use of AI and smart sensors to collect and analyse data about energy usage, traffic flow and air quality.

How long will it take until these systems are adapted into our cities?

Will it be possible to provide rural areas with the same infrastructure and services?
